For what it's worth, this is the belt specified by Hoover for the Elite Rewind.

It's not an original parts from Hoover. But it works fine so far even though it came in smaller and I needed to stretch it a little bit to put it on. It's a little surprise that it came with 2 so that I have a spare to use. For a low price with free shipping, what can I ask for?

These bands break on our Hoover all the time so at least these do not cost an arm and a leg!

My wife bought a Dyson, but before I gave up on the Hoover, I changed the belt. The Hoover picks up better than the Dyson! She was so upset at the waste of money the Dyson appears to be.

I bought 2 belts from Amazon.com for my Vacuum cleaner Model No.U4617-910D2 and was sent the belts with the wrong number. The recommended belt is 38528-027
These two belts are too short, a lot too short. There is only one belt that could fit
the Dual Purpose Hoover Vacuum Cleaner (Elite II). No amount of streaching make it work.
Obviously the 38528040 is the wrong belt. Is the original belt sold by Amazon?

It works well. I bought two belts. I thought they would come in an envelope. But they come in a box that is much bigger.

Didn't find this belt at Walmart. Ordered item from my Iphone right then and there.
Came quick. Enclosed note warned 1) Not returnable and 2) Would appear much smaller than expected.
It was a very tight fit, but it fixed Vacuum and I am very happy.

I ordered this for my mom. She couldn't find one at any store in her area. It came fast and was just what she needed. There were two belts in the package. The price was great anyway but with free shipping who could beat that.
