This is a great CD, was out of print in 1992, but is now available for $20.00 plus $3.95 from Bobby "Boris" Pickett's own site [...] I just don't think it is fair for this many people who want to buy and enjoy this CD to have to go to the scalpers and the on line download sites. You want to stop the downloaders and sharers, then post good information where people can BUY the music at a fair price. This information is free thru Google, and that's how I found it. Buy the CD, it is wonderful!

Back in the 1980's I had the LP, bought after the single had once again been released and climbed to the top of the UK singles charts. Now 20 plus years have passed, my LP long since disappeared in a divorce and yet... And yet I still find myself on odd occasions crooning lines like "Me and my Mummy and Me and my Mummy, me and my Mummy and Meeeeeeee" while washing dishes or "I'm a werewolf, yeah yeah yeah, I'm werewolf, wooo wooo ooooh" while cutting garden hedges. These were silly tunes that stuck in the brain.

This is a true keeper for my kids sake... honest it's not for me at all. No, really!

Back in 1973 I bought the reissue version of this cd on 12 inch vinyl. I was only 12 years old. I didn't know it was a reissue. To me this WAS the Monster Mash album. Now mind you this cd has 4 extra tracks that were not included in my version. Personally I think they made a wise choice to omit them. They're not really bad songs. I just find them to be a little weak. I'm going to list the songs for you, but bear in mind I can not column them. Here goes. This 1962 version released in 2009. 1) Monster Mash 2) Rabian The Fiendish Idol 3) Blood Bank Blues 4) Graveyard Shift 5) Skully Gully 6) Wolfbane 7) Monster Minuet 8) Transylvania Twist 9) Sinister Stomp 10) Me And My Mummy 11) Monster Motion 12) Monster Mash Party 13) Irresistable Igor 14) Bella's Bash 15) Let's Fly Away 16) Monster's Holiday. The 1973 reissue song list. 1 Monster Mash, 2 Rabian The Fiendish Idol, 3 Blood Bank Blues, 4 Graveyard Shift, 5 Monster's Holiday, 6 Monster Minuet, 7 Transylvania Twist, 8 Sinister Stomp, 9 Me & My Mummy, 10 Monster Mash Party, 11 Bella's Bash, 12 Let's Fly Away. Either edition, this album is so loaded with fun you just can't help falling in love with it. If I had only one gripe, it would be this; Amazon buries this one deep in the search results and is very hard to find. You have to type (Gary Paxton Monster Mash) to find it. Also it's only 1/3 the cost of the one they display first. And it's the same exact cd. Since I'm such a slow typist I've already listened to the whole thing and I'm ready to play it again. This time I'll use random select. OH HOW I LOVE THIS CD!

I am one of the 7 people on this planet who acually owns this CD and I have the original LP! The CD has a bonus track that was not included on the original LP called 'Monster's Holiday'. This is a one of a kind experience album. Everyone knows the title song but, most "ghouls" don''t know that an entire album exist. The title song and it's B side to the famous single 'Monster Mash Party' are the best cuts, but there are some really outrageously weird tunes on this juvenile, but fun record! It's always in my Halloween mix along with some very strong 'Bloody Mary's'.....and several shots of Tequila! "The guests included Wolfman....Dracula and his son!"

this is the classic of classics when it come to Halloween music! I have been looking for this LP (does that tell you how old I am?) for 20 years. If I had know it was out again in 1992, I would have order it then. I can only hope it gets reissued again. If it does, anyone who likes FUN music will love this CD!

This is the complete original Monster Mash album from the '60s by Bobby Pickett. It features his monster smash "Monster Mash" and a lot of other monster themed music recorded to fill out the album. To be blunt, most of this material is "filler". It is fun, silly stuff, but it's not great by any stretch of the imagination. I should mention that there is one bonus track added to the CD, which is the Christmas single "Monster's Holiday". It's a good CD to get for your Halloween party.

I've been trying to find the Monster Mash album at a decent price. It was last released on CD in 14 years ago and is now being sold for about $80 used!! One review on here complained about Bobby Pickett selling CD R copies for $20 which are autographed and came with a pen. Sounds good to me! It'd be great to have all of these songs, but I can't afford an $80 used CD! A $20 autographed copy from Pickett is more to my liking.

This is the original Monster Mash from the 60's sung by Bobby Boris Pickett and the Crypt-Kickers. The Halloween Party song is the highlight of this recording and benefits from remastered sound. There are several remixes and newer versions to this song which lose the lustre and fun of the original which is really more of a laidback, fun, catchy 60's tune. The rest are more or less similar monster-themed songs with witty lines. This is a cute album and makes fine background music for your Halloween party. Enjoy
