I contacted the company by email beforehand to be sure I would get the specific model battery and that it was new merchandise in a sealed package (I know this is how new product is delivered by experience). I received a USED battery. I called the company and they told me they did not have new batteries in sealed packages. I told them it was USED, I could tell by the shiny plastic covering showing wear and the gold metal contacts showed wear when inspected with a magnifying glass. When I said I would contact Amazon he said he would refund my money because he was "out of new batteries just now" and didn't want any trouble. It was a plain bait and switch scheme. It was an irritating experience and a waste of my time.

Repeat, don't buy this item. Go to Motorola and buy a real battery that will actually work. I could not give it zero stars.

Received battery quickly, however it was not the exact battery that was advertised. The battery works in the phone, but has less capacity (mAh) than the one advertised. Will probably go elsewhere next time.

Since this is an original Motorola battery it fits perfectly into my phone. It holds a charge just like the original that came with the phone.

This battery looks like the original but it does not perform like the original. It lasted under five months while the original lasted about 18 months under similar usage.

The date on the battery is 2006 and I purchased it in March 2008. Perhaps its age is an issue.

Shipping was very fast.

Despite seeing the negative reviews for this seller and this product, I took a chance, hoping for a positive experience. I was wrong.

While the battery arrived promptly, it was neither new (as advertised) or the battery I ordered. I immediately called the customer service number printed on the packing slip only to be told by a voice message that all internet customers were to send an email rather than leave a message after the tone.

I emailed my complaint, describing how the battery was not the "Original Motorola Battery" nor was it new. It took two days for me to receive a rude response stating that the battery I received was the replacement battery for the one I ordered. And, while I understand that companies replace old products with new ones, the description of the item I purchased clearly does not so state. This response did not at all address the fact that the battery I received was not new. (Which was evident in scrapes on the battery and the water-damage indicator sticker showing that it had been exposed to water!)

I replied, stating again that the battery was not new and I wanted a replacement. I quickly got an email back saying they would send another, new, battery out to me immediately.

The second "new" battery I received ALSO HAD BEEN EXPOSED TO WATER. I have a hard time believing they seriously get away with this.

I have contacted the seller again about this second battery and am awaiting a response. I will update this review once fully resolved.

Ordered a KRZR battery, got it pretty quick. But it won't hold a charge for an entire day even when sitting on standby, with no calls. Also of note, battery was manufactured in 2006 (the original battery that came with the phone was made in 2007). Guess I got a dud. I gave one star for fast delivery.

Battery came promptly, but was not the same battery I ordered. I was sent a BT50 which does work but is a little larger and so was a bit difficult to fit in my phone.

The vendor GadgetCell sent me a used battery. When I opened the package, I saw it was wrapped in a small plastic bag. The battery was dirty and the part of the white plastic was ripped. When I asked for a refund they said keep it they'll send a new battery. They never did. I contacted them letting them know it did not arrive. They said to wait a couple more days and then if it I didn't receive it, they will send another one via UPS. More time passed and I email them say I still did not receive it and can they UPS it. They said sure. I asked for a tracking# and they never responded. All this took over a month. I emailed them back asking for a refund and they didn't respond. Finally I had to submit a complaint to Amazon.

Finally the vendor emailed me:

"I am so sorry. I will refund you first thing in the morning. It will show up on your account within 2 to7 business days. And as a token of our apology I will ship it out for free.I feel terrible about this. Sometimes with the usps items get lost but eventually arrive at the intended location. But with ups that never happens. Again I'm really sorry about this. If you happen to get more than one keep them as a gift. Sorry."

Hummm... got a tracking#? What gift. What battery? I never received the replacement, any of them!

Bought batteries because they were cheap. They are not any better than the ones replaced. Last about 2 days in the phone, as long as you don't use it! Old batteries last as long or longer. Guess I'll go buy them from Verizon.

Very, very disappointed in the quality. Never again.
