There were other muck boots in my past. Then these muck boots came into my life and my feet were finally happy going out in the snow/mud/rain. I bought my first pair eight years ago, and although a little pricey, they are definitely worth it. I got my monies worth out of them. They lasted for 8 years wearing them every day, twice a day in every kind of weather to go out and feed my horses/donkey/goats and to also walk my dogs in lousy weather. Sometimes I walk in mud almost a foot deep in spots and my feet stay toasty and dry. In the winter I use them when shoveling or snowblowing. I love them because you just pull them on - no laces to tie, nothing to zip. These are all one piece too so no soles to come off, which happened to me with my previous pair. When it's warmer outside, I just come back to the house and rinse them off under the hose and we're good.

I bought these instead of the bogs brand since I needed them fast and Amazon didn't have my size in the Bogs brand. I received them and was initally impressed with the look and feel. I did find it odd there were no insoles. I am a shoe freak who buys wayyy to many shoes but I have never seen that! So I wear them for the first time for approx. two hours outside in snowy Chicago weather. Not only are they the most uncomofortable boot I have ever bought they also had an odd twisting feeling in the right boot. After getting home and checking them out they already wear on the back right heel. After two hours in snow? Combine that with how uncomfortable they were I think it best to steer clear of these! Thankfully, Amazon has an air-tight return policy to cover this situation. Sucks though because I initially loved the look of these.
