2.0 out of 5 stars Floating eyewear retainer
Like the idea for I do a lot of boating. Yet while walking my dogs 1/2/12, the side came off rather expensive perscrption sun glasses. I was looking for something like this for awhile, and just kept putting it off until I ended up scratching my prescription glasses while out on the jet ski one weekend and put them in the storage area of it while out on the lake. So after deciding it was time for new glasses anyways and some prescription sunglasses I wanted to not lose them. Well first time out with this baby on my sunglasses I got tossed off the jet ski and popped up from the water and saw this glowing yellow ball, swam to it and bam sunglasses are floating freely in 40 feet of water.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sunglasses Strap, December 30, 2010
Lightweight, sturdy, and will absolutely save your expensive sunglasses from sinking to the bottom of the lake. A must for my Ray-Bans!

4.0 out of 5 stars Eyeglass survival for boats, August 10, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this item for use on our jet ski and boat. We wear expensive polarized glasses and don't want to loose them in the water. Now if they fall off in the water they will be safe. They float. The hole for the eyeglass arm does stretch so only use it on same glasses.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great, July 18, 2011

I got the fishing bobber model. They work great. They float my Oakley's very nicely. I tested them out in the lake. Even if there was no cork on this thing it looks like the band alone is buoyant enough to float my glasses. So what i am saying is this thing could probably float some seriously heavy glasses with no problem. Also the bright colored cork makes it easy to find them if they fall off while your driving your boat and you have to turn around to go get them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Great, October 16, 2011

These work just fine. Same quality you would buy in a sunglasses store. The straps float as well as the float itself. Holds my glasses up just fine. Definitely test your glasses floating ability before you need it!

5.0 out of 5 stars C for looks, A for performance, May 7, 2011

I look like a dork wearing these, but I look like an idiot when I lose my Oakleys in the lake.

For the small price of ceaseless ridicule by your friends and family, this product allows you to wear your expensive shades around the water. It's worth it. Buy them.

I have JetSkis. Friends lost glasses. I got three of these, and no one loses glasses any more. The floats are good, and the people at the company are great to deal with. If they make other things I can use, I'll buy those, too.
