This is a follow up to my previous review. My order was lost somewhere in the system. Koyono corrected the problem and sent the coat to me overnight with a partial refund of my purchase price for my inconvenience. That was tops!

The coat is very good on its own merits and is quite a bargain compared to anything you will find in a department, clothing, or travel store. The styling is very contemporary, the options with or without the liner are perfect for all types of weather, it can be worn alone or over a suit or sweater, and the hoards of pockets are a road warrior's dream! The only shortcoming, strictly from my personal preference, is that the coat closes in the front with five large buttons hidden behind the placket. I would prefer a zipper with an oversized pull. In cold and wet weather, a zipper can be operated quickly while wearing snug dress or driving gloves. Buttons, however, require you to remove your gloves so that you can feel where the button holes are located.

If it closed with a zipper, I would give it five stars.

Hanging around marketing types for a long time has left me jaded to most catalog descriptions. I read the fanciful descriptions of this coat and thought that it sounds like an amazing coat but I bet its just great. I was wrong! One of the few things I've bought in my life that actually matched the glowing descriptions. The first day I wore it was a rainy day here in San Francisco and the jacket performed well. I stayed warm and dry. The pockets were able to hold all of my gear without looking bulky. The one pocket I really wanted to test was the magazine pocket even it lived up to the descriptions.

I would also like to mention the excellent customer service I received from them. I had sent an email to the company regarding shipping. There had been a problem and the company went above and beyond what I expected to rectify the problem.

The biggest compliment I think I can give them is I would definitely buy another product from them and plan on doing so and will recommend them to anyone.

On the company's website, they recommend that you take the size T-shirt you wear, and reduce the it by one level (if you wear an XL shirt, then order an L jacket). Follow this advice. These coats run big. I generally wear an XL coat, and the Large in this coat still gives me plenty of room - maybe too much.

Regarding the rest: it is a good standard coat - many pockets are a plus, and the removable vest is nice. I would have preferred a zipper instead of buttons on the coat, but that is my only complaint.

Without a doubt the best overcoat I have ever purchased. It is has met my expections 150%. The coat and liner integration is an impecable design. The jacket fits as if it was tailored for me. I recommend this coat to anyone who needs a place to put things. Just be careful you might just forget were you put it!
