I almost bought a cheaper nylon rope hammock. Those might be fine, but I wanted 100% cotton because my previous hammocks were all cotton and were very comfortable and durable.

This is an excellent quality hammock and is big enough for two (or three or four).

It fits my old hammock stand (the very common 3-piece steel pipe version) perfectly. I did need another person to help stretch it while I hooked the other end to the pole.

Don't be alarmed if you "bottom out" when you first use it. The cotton ropes will stretch and the knots will tighten with use. Just keep tightening the attachment chains until the hammock is broken in.

The hammock is beautiful but the hardware broke and we fell to the ground the first time we used it.You will nee to go to the hardware store to buy heavy duty hardware to safely use this hammock.
