I bought these tools for my best friend who was tired of her husband stealing her tools and this is what she had to say about them: "LOVE these tools! The 'Pink Box' renders the set husband-proof; this must have been designed by a woman. The practical metal box opens effortlessly with an easy-to-grab display of high-quality tools. Fat rubbery grips on the screwdrivers provide great traction and keep long fingernails from digging into the palm of your hand. At first glance the hammer looks short but I like to choke up on a hammer anyway and the angled base to the grip snugs my little finger against the bottom of the grip for a super-control feel. The box balances on its edge taking up less than a 2 1/2 inch strip of shelf space. The perfect keep-them-in-the-house tool set for the housewife who is tired of hubby taking her tools."

She told me that, when they arrived, her husband snatched the tape measure out of the box getting ready to make fun of it thinking it another Barbie doll joke. Much to his surprise the tools are high quality but, being the man's man that he is, will not deign to use any tool that is pink.

I gave this as a gift to my best friend who is single and fixes a lot around her house. She lit up when she opened it and exclaimed that she finally had her own tool kit and pink no less. This girl has over an acre of property and leans more toward cowgirl than diva but she wrote me a card that thanked me for knowing her well enough to buy her pink tools. My husband checked them out after she opened it and thought they were well made. He stopped short of asking for one of his very own. Highly recommend.
