Original Rectangular Table & Chair Set Cover

Here is what I received. It is not rectangular. It is oval. It is not 87" long, it is 85" at the widest part of the rounded ends. It is not 58" wide. It is only 56" wide, and that for only about 5 feet of the length. It is not 27" tall. Closer to 24" tall. There is no indication in the photo or the description that it is oval. It would be appropriate for a rectangular 5 to 6 foot long rectangular table and chairs with a chair at each end provided the set would fit inside the above dimensions and there were no umbrella.

The package shows a picture just like the one in the Amazon listing, and it is described on the package as "Original Rectangular Table and Chair Set Cover". It will not fit over something that is rectangular and measures 87" X 58" or anything close to that.

This cover looks nice and feels thick and durable. We only bought it to cover our table, not chairs, but I don't think it's big enough to cover the chairs in our set, so it's not one size fits all. In our case it didn't matter since we put the chairs in the garage. My main issue with this cover is that ours isn't fully waterproof, I'd say it's water resistant. If water pools on it, the water will seep through.

So far the table and chair cover seems perfect. My only hesitation is that the vent panel is larger than I expected -- 3"-4" tall and nearly from end to end of the long side. We're wondering whether that's going to be a good thing in our wet climate. It's there to keep mold and mildew from forming, and that is a concern here in Oregon, but we're a little afraid it may let in too much water. Will update my review in the spring. Other than that one concern, which may be nothing at all, it seems perfect -- our table and four good size chairs are completely covered, the cover is sturdy and appears to be fully waterproof, and it's stayed completely in place in some fairly gusty winds. We are ordering the grill cover today.

This product is exactly what i expected. It arrived 3 days later. We live in WI and it is holding up to the snow and cold, along with staying where it belongs.

This product (so far) has lived up to my expectations and has perhaps even exceeded them. It looks & feels durable, covers a good-sized table + 4 chairs nicely and keeps out the rain. I've purchased other products from the same manufacturer (Hearth and Garden) and have been equally happy with them. I get the feeling I'll buy others in the future when these products ultimately succumb to the weather elements.

This cover has a mesh strip around the bottom that was not shown in the pictures. I wouldn't have bought it had I known. It would be nice in mild climates but we had to put a cover under this one to protect the furniture from snow and ice. I would return it if I could. : (

I haven't been through a winter yet with this, but it's been one heck of an abysmal summer so far, where it's rained more than we've had sunshine up here in the Seattle area.

This cover is large enough to cover a small table, 2 chairs, and a small bench. It's done a great job of keeping these items dry, and the durability of the material this is made of makes me feel like it's going to last a bit. We'll see though. The area up here is notorious for weathering down even the best outdoor gear. Between heat and sun alternating with lots of rain and a mostly tree-shaded property which keeps everything moist and perfect for mold and mildew during the summer to rain, cold, snow, ice, and material from trees during spring, fall and winter (sticky sappy seeds, rotting leaves, etc.) Mother Nature has won the war so far on anything that's been placed outdoors. I've got my fingers crossed though that this cover will help extend the life of the somewhat expensive furniture set we purchased this year.

My only complaint is that the drawstring which is supposed to tighten the base is a little difficult to pull tight. Perhaps a different mechanism to secure the cover would have been better.

Also, be aware if you have wildlife and keep this cover on for any length of time: small critters might decide that living under this is the best thing that ever happened to them. I think I had a squirrel under mine, or a raccoon. Not sure what it was, I just saw the stains from it on my cushions and the husk from a peanut and some other stuff it ate!

all the products I purchased from amazon with the "Hearth and Garden" name were above average product material, but I had to send the first order back due to a bad fit of my table and chair set. The dimensions of the product should be given so the purchaser can measure their table and chairs for the standard cover or the deluxe cover which I ended up purchasing. the same holds true for the umbrella cover and any of these covers. give the dimensions in the order stage for consumer ease.

We are very happy with this patio furniture cover. It is made of a thick polyester that has resisted tearing (a problem we had with the Koveroos brand.) We would definitely recommend it.

I bought this cover to protect our patio furniture when not in use or when we are expecting rain. It was less expensive than the ones I had seen in store and the reviews seemed pretty positive. Overall this cover met and exceeded my expectations. We have a rectangle 4 chair set, 4 additional folding chairs, a side table and this covers it all! We take the folding chairs and lay them on the table, put the side table underneath the larger one and the cover fits over nicely with a just enough room. It also has a cord that can be tightened down around the bottom to keep it from flying away. All in all I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to purchase one. After all we spend on our patio furniture it only makes sense to keep them covered when necessary to extend their lifespan.
