this cd is a breathe of fresh air. pure fire! the only reason i didnt give it five is because bronze should have produced way more. the beats are very good especially bronzes of course. canibus has a good verse but not as good as he usually can come and both holocaust and keith murray come correct with theirs and as for killah priest and c rayz they never let you down...

IT LOOKS LIKE EVERYONE THAT LEAVES REVIEWS SEEMS TO BE CAUGHT UP IN THE FACT THAT THIS IS A WU-TANG ALBUM AND THEY AUTOMATICALLY THINK ITS GONNA BE GOOD. I WONDER IF THEY REALLY LISTENED TO IT. If you are a fan of the Wu...or C-Rayz...or Sunz of Man and the Snowgoons albums, pick this cd up without hesitation...This is a very solid release with some nice MCs...Also check out Doap Nixon. Peace.

5.0 out of 5 stars Inferno!, July 29, 2008

This joint goes past fire. I guess I am biased when it comes to Wu and their affiliations, but this is a none biased review. The CD is very strong. Keith Murray and Kevlaar 7 (as usual) kills it. In fact everyone shines on this album, and the beat (particularly The Saga Begins) on some of the songs are crazy. You gotta love that menacing beat and the "Wu" chants. Ish is crazy! Cop this, not the new pop rap you heard about on the radio.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quite a collaboration!, August 21, 2008

Another Wu Killa Bee banger! This is my favorite album of 2008. The production is slamming and every emcee rips it. The different styles of both the producers and emcees is diverse, so each song has a different sound to it while maintaining that dopeness. The producers(a multitude of beatmakers, Bronze Nazareth handles several beats, all amazing) add their own flavor. There is way too much variety on this album for it to be considered common or generic. The horns, flutes, strings, scratches...they're all fresh and dope. Obviously the emceeing is all original, every emcee brings his own style to the plate. Favorite 5 songs:

Obey(The Statesmen)- Planet Asia, Killah Priest, Son One, and C-Rayz Walz! Their chemistry on this is superb, banging beat courtesy of Davey D.
Killa Bee Swarm
The Saga Begins
Handle the Heights
Daylight

Killah Priest shines on this album. It is nice to hear C-Rayz Walz over some banging beats too. My one minor complaint is that there are maybe two or three okay songs that are not on the same level as the other ones, but it does not diminish the overall sound of the album. GREAT album, 9.65/10.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solid Release, October 20, 2009
This review is from: Original S.I.N. (Audio CD)
As far as compilation albums go, this is a very good album. The production is unbelievable, with that Nu Wu feel that has been brought in by Bronze Nazareth and other Wu affiliated producers in recent years, a nice infusion of soulful backdrops and boom bap that create for a solid backbone to the album. The cast of lyrical manpower is great here, including Killah Priest, Planet Asia, C-Rayz Walz, Timbo King, and Bronze Nazareth. If you are looking for that hard Wu sound, this is the album for you.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED WITH THE BEATS, EVERYTHING SOUNDED UNDERDONE, THE BEATS WERE NOT COMPLEX ENOUGH AND THE LYRICS WERE QUESTIONABLEI WOULD LISTEN TO THE FIRST COUPLE BARS AND WOULDN'T BE IMPRESSED AND USUALLY SKIP TO THE NEXT. DON'T HATE ME GUYS, I LOVE WU-TANG I OWN EVERY ALBUM THEY'VE EVER PUT OUT AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED. BUT THIS IS FAR FROM WU-TANG MATERIAL. THEYRE LUCKY TO GET 3 STARS
