5.0 out of 5 stars Spa Frog instead of Chloine or Bromine
Spa Frog uses minerals to keep a hot tub clean. It replaces Bromine or Chlorind tablets and does no harm to the rubber gaskets found in several areas in hot tubs. Place the perforated canister in the center of the filter hole and allow the water to circulate over and through the spa frog. 3.0 out of 5 stars Piece of mind?
I'm not really sure this product does much to make my pH "more" stable. My water does however feel "nicer". This product fits the stand pipe on hot springs spa.

For the price, I cant complain due to the water comfort, but not convinced on the pH bit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spa Frog instead of Chloine or Bromine, December 13, 2010

Spa Frog uses minerals to keep a hot tub clean. It replaces Bromine or Chlorind tablets and does no harm to the rubber gaskets found in several areas in hot tubs. Place the perforated canister in the center of the filter hole and allow the water to circulate over and through the spa frog. When used in addition to an ozonator the result is a clean, odorless hot tub. Lasts for about three months. It also seems that the tub requires less adjusting of pH. I highly recommend the product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good price on Spa Frog, May 10, 2011

I had been using a competitor brand of mineral sanitizer, and SPA FROG is $15 cheaper and works just as well. I have ordered from this merchant several times for spa chemicals, and their pricing is always competitive and their delivery is fast. I reported that this order had a SPA FROG lid that popped off, and VMI was very prompt to replace the item with a new one. Their customer service is excellent, and I recommend them highly.

The Spa Frog really makes the water last a lot longer in the hot tub and keeps a nice ph balance.

4.0 out of 5 stars Spa Frog, October 29, 2011

Seems to be working - Water seems less harsh and less chems needed. The only thing that surprised me
was how it came. I have seen it in the store "Packed up". When we got it it was just sitting open in
a plain brown box - no customer material etc... and some of the minerals pcs were at the bottom of the box.
I did write them - they said they get wholesale and that's why ship like that- it was just kinda of surprising.
other then that all ok :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars must have for spa operation, best price & shipping time, October 3, 2010

Necessary for spa to stay fresh, I looked around and got the best price with decent shipping time from Amazon. I wish Spa frog made an easier mount for use inside existing cartridge but it is still best product and is workable.

this thing is junk and does not work......I left it in my hot tub for 4 days without any other chemicals and the water was green and smelled.....so I went back to adding a little chlorine and shock and it is back to normal.....I would not buy this again and do not recommend it.....
