A very nice original 8" x 10" posed publicity portrait of the Mexican actress Lupe Velez. The portrait shows a smiling Lupe with her gams exposed and it appears to be from the late 20's when she was just beginning to make a splash in Hollywood. Briefly married to Johnny Weissmuller, Lupe had many affairs most notably with Gary Cooper. Today she is mostly remembered for her Mexican Spitfire series of films she did in the early 40's and her suicide at age 36. Small mend tear to the top white margin and a very tiny creases also to the margins. Vg.
