but like everything else regarding cello, ask your teacher first. I discovered a different kind of cello endpin that attaches to the leg of your chair and absolutely does NOT slide around. This one will - it depends on what kind of surface you have it on.

It workds fine, though when I hvae been practicing for several hours it begins to move. I was not aware that rubber stoppers are better than these.

The cello stop is neccessary. I wish it had a little more, "grip". But it works on tile and wood flooring. I am happy I bought this. A cheap price too!
