It's hard to see on the label pictured, but this "vanilla" sugar is in fact flavored with synthetic vanillin, an artificial flavor. Some people like the taste of it -- but it's different from echt vanilla.

My family and relatives have been using this product since I was a child and I have also used it myself for many years. This product is the key ingredient in one of our family's traditional & favorite holiday cookie recipes. Everyone just absolutely LOVES them! I also use it for other recipes too, including chocolate french toast! This product is tremendous. Once you try it, you'll find yourself wanting to keep a stash of it handy! Enjoy.
