Funky samba hip-hop... with real musicians playing!,
By DJ Joe Sixpack (...in Middle America) - See all my reviews (TOP 500 REVIEWER) (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER)
This review is from: Original (Audio CD)
Poppy, bouncy hip-hop from Sao Paulo, featuring sharp turntabulism, decent beats and live, funky saxophone. These guys have flow, although I admit I found my attention wandering midway through the album... Andres Salazar's sax work is a little flat in places; not bad, just not as soulful as it might have been, although his Spanish-language rapping easily matches Gustavo Veiga's Portuguese tounge-twisting toasting talents. Keep in mind, these kids are pretty young, and this is a pretty strong debut. Worth checking out if you're into the whole global hip-hop trip.

This is a fine dig dif brazillian album. They mix popular music with bossa, funky, jazz and soul. The artists Gustavo Veiga, Andres Salazar and Dj Diazz made a geat swing sound in this first album. They just lounch the title in Brazil and will show the job arround the hole south america. It's easy to listen, nice to dance and special to apreciate. Very good.

This cd is a mix of brazilian music with jazz bossa funky and hip hop. I dicovered this sound in sao paulo at a club. The artists Gustavo Veiga, Andres Salazar and specialy the scratcher dj diazz maked a fine dig music. There's swing, vibe, beat and gerat balance. They are starting the careers and have a good future. Congratulatios.
