5.0 out of 5 stars excellent read!
This book explains in easy-to-understand language how science better supports faith in creation than faith in evolution. The author explains the difference between micro-evolution and macro-evolution. Micro-evolution (evolution within species in nature) is truly scientific but macro-evolution (evolution across species in nature) is unsupported by science and even...

1.0 out of 5 stars Why are creationists afraid of science?
Found this in a second-hand bookstore and had to add it to my collection of creationist ignorance. This is another in a looong line of silly creationist misinterpretation of entry level science. It is truly sad that these people are so insecure about their religious beliefs that they feel they must commandeer science in an attempt to bolster their antique, fundamentalist...

This review is from: Origins? (Paperback)
This book explains in easy-to-understand language how science better supports faith in creation than faith in evolution. The author explains the difference between micro-evolution and macro-evolution. Micro-evolution (evolution within species in nature) is truly scientific but macro-evolution (evolution across species in nature) is unsupported by science and even contradicts well-established laws of science.

The author explains also that just because someone is willing to believe in both God and evolution doesn't necessarily make evolution true. Also, if Darwinian evolution is true, then there really is no need to believe in God at all because God is unnecessary for the process and any belief in God becomes just blind faith and pie-in-the-sky. The author also points out important Biblical problems in accepting both the Bible and evolution. This book is a must read for all, both creationists as well as evolutionists.

It is truly sad that these people are so insecure about their religious beliefs that they feel they must commandeer science in an attempt to bolster their antique, fundamentalist world-view. If you can make it through 10 pages of this tract without finding numerous errors of the most basic science, you may need to go back to junior high.
