This review is from: The Origins of the Ottoman Empire (Suny Series in the Social and Economic History of the Middle East) (Paperback)
This book by Fuad Koprulu is certainly a fundamental reading for understanding the creation of the Ottoman State, and its basic to understand the further discussion in ottmanist historiography. This english edition is a great oportunity allowing the english reader an access to an essential debate about the origins of the Ottoman Empire, avaliable only, before this book, in french and turkish .
