I have a tile backsplash and when I went to put the canister back along the wall after getting coffee from it. I heard a crack pop sound. It barely bumped the tiles and it broke. I couldn't believe how easily it happened but I examined the piece of glass that broke from it and it's so thin I could crack it in my hand. I would never have bought these if I would have known the glass was so thin. I will probably order a new set with the chrome wrapped bottom.

From afar these canisters look great. Its when you get up close and look and the quality of the product that lets you down. I bought these mainly for storing my favorite coffee in and I am pretty sure these lids are not air tight. I don't think they would be dishwasher safe either. But for the price It serves its purpose.

I really liked the modern lines of these canisters and that you can see what is in each one and they sealed shut. They look great. One of the lids has come loose from the plastic insert so I am goint to have to glue it back on....but I would still buy them again for the qualities listed above. I am an organizational nut and like the view!

They are beautiful! They are so easy to clean and to fill! I didnt know they would be glass all they way through! They are well worth the money and then some!!!! Looks great!

Made in CHINA!
Was very disappointed that these were made in China... It would be nice if the origin of products were clearly posted! If I knew they were from China, I wouldn't have ordered them. Read more
