This book brought back some great memories of growing up in Baltimore in the 60s, collecting some of these players on Tools baseball cards, listening to the games on the radio with my grand dad, and reading about the games in the Baltimore News American. I only gave it three stars because it was really just a rehash of statistics. I didn't realise why until I read the authors bio and saw that he did not grow up with these Oriole heroes. I was hoping it would have been more like the Baltimore Colt books, "When the Colts belonged to Baltimore," and "The Colts Baltimore," but it was not.
