It's not a bad idea to keep a flashlight and a whistle on your key chain, especially if you live in a city that has power failures, elevators and subways.These small whistles are designed to be attached to a life jacket. They are orange and they are loud. Making a loud noise with little effort is a good way to let rescuers know that there is a survivor under the rubble.
