The cradle was just delivered today. I unwrapped it and tried charging my iPhone4 with the A/C adapter first. No problem. Then I tried charging/syncing it with the USB cable connected to my computer. Again, no problem. It also holds the iPhone4 with bumper case just fine. It has a large footprint (3.5X4X1"), but it is 1/2 the cost of the Apple cradle plus it holds the iphone with the case on.

The idea is great. Being able to charge your phone on a dock with the bumper on is really needed. I use this by my bed since my phone is also my alarm clock. It work really well, for the most part.
The only issue I have is that the plug attachment is the part that moves, not the dock itself. So the part that you plug into your phone slides back and forth. It wiggles a lot, and it's tricky to line up with your phone to make sure it's seating enough to charge as well as so it won't break. It would have been much nicer to have a fixed port with a bumper on the dock that moved to meet up with the back of the phone, much like the iHome iPod dock. It's does it's job, but I'm nervous every time I plug it in.

Bought this charger docking station for my IPhone 4 that requires a case wrapped around it to mitigate the antenna signal issue.
The charger worked well as advertised initially with the charge plug to the IPhone sticking out sufficiently to let you leave the plastic case stayed on the phone during the re-charge. However, the design had the plug loose and sliding at the base (I believe this was for its flexibility to adjust to different phone cases' shape thickness). Because of that, the plug wiggled a lot and was hard to make up with the phone connector. After a while, the plug became quite loose and sinking more into the base. That starts giving me problems to get my phone properly lined up with the plug and to get a good connection to the charger. The plastic crade base also felt flimsy and cheap. I give it a 2.5 star rating for being true to the advertised features initially and being reasonably inexpensive, but in the long run would not recommend it due to its bad design.
