The front cover can be opened 360 degrees to lay flat against the back for comfortable reading. The Leather Book Case also features a rear kickstand which can be used to prop the iPad at a 45 degree angle for desk or table top viewing in landscape mode. There are two small pockets inside the front cover which can hold business cards or other flat items. The cover is secured with a magnetic closure to protect the front of the iPad while carrying.

Amazon Verified Purchase
This iPad case is cheap, fits well and looks good but has many shortcomings in the practicality area. For a start, it's a sleeve so the iPad has to slide in it. However, there's nothing to stop the iPad sliding OUT if it's held vertically. Bad design! Also, the designers forgot or didn't know that the iPad has a light sensor that brightens/dims the display depending on ambient light. When inserted, the cover blocks the sensor so the iPad is always dimmed even in bright sunshine. I had to go to a local shoe repair store and ask them to punch a hole in the leather sleeve where the sensor is located which solved the problem. Finally, there's nowhere to store papers, etc. only a small pouch for business cards and a couple of tiny pockets which I can only guess are for storing stamps. Too bad, it really does look nice! I wouldn't recommend it even though it's priced very reasonably.

The only issue I have with this case is that it has no safety closure at the top. Other than that, it is perfect for my iPad.
