Buyers BEWARE!!! The picture of this product is misleading, which shows the round connector to iPhone. Instead, it is a large rectangular/square connector with protruding buttons, which is totally unusable if you have case or skin on your iPhone. Useless, not worth the hassle of return it.

Contacted customer service and these are their replies:

"With the OrionGadgets cable, you will not be able to fit the phone with a case/skin on the iphone."
"This cable is made to work optimally on a "naked" phone, without any skin or case on it."

Really??? It would nice if these are in the product description or the picture is showing the correct item.

I'm still amazed at how good this product is. I purchased it because I wanted to keep one in the car as a spare. It has become the main one for me. It does feel cheep on your hands probably because it is very light. However, that's a false impression since it's very sturdy and reliable. I will order one for my wife as well. I highly recommend it.

I purchased one of these in 2009 and love it. It measures just about 2.5 inches when pulled out at full length. I use this all the time with my iPhone and iPod. I purchased a few more because they are good to have in each car, at work, or just for spares. Compact, easy to pack when traveling, and very easy to use. I like the new style versus the old style. The old style I have (the photo I have provided) has protruding buttons on the sides. The new style does not and instead, to remove the connector from the device, you have to press the hidden buttons and sometimes it's easy to forget they are there. I recommend this to anyone, especially at the cost. Buy a couple.

I have had this product for less than a month and it is already broken. The wires have come out of the usb portion of this product with minimal use. Do not buy this product.

It stopped working about 2 weeks after I got it. Which for the $3 something I paid for it, something like that was expected. The retractable coil design is a cool idea, but it no longer connects whenever I try to charge my phone.

This was a great buy, it worked fine and I loved it, especially for the price. Then it stopped working. it lasted me about 2 months. :(

I enjoy this Retractable sync/charge use cable for my iphone. I have other retractable cables as well. Like that I am able to make it compact and not have use rubber bands or twist ties to hold it all together. I bought two one for myself and brother. We use it all the time. Great product to have and the cost is fabulous. tks.

... for the price. i keep it in my backpack for when i need it on the go. not great quality, the wide end like looses adjustment... but it's practical to carry in the backpack since it doesn't tangle.

Awesome sync cable, I use it to charge and to sync, it practically lives in my pocket! Great product!

The item pictured is not the item received. The received sync cable has a wider casing then the one pictured. The item received is much larger and does not work with a case on the phone.
