5.0 out of 5 stars Oris Blue Divers Watch
I am very pleased about this Oris watch. It keeps perfect time, and you can see through the back of the watch revealing the automatic swiss movement. The watch is very good looking and several people have commented positively on it. It actually looks much better in person than it does in the pictures.

2.0 out of 5 stars NOT what I expected
I saw different watches and the one IN THE PICTURE was the one I expected....
One of the main things that I chose this special model was because I liked the wristband... and when it came? Surprise!
The wristband didn't have the ORIS engraved.
I was disappointed, specially because of the price I payed and not get what I purchased

I recently purchased this watch for an incredible $620! And, YES, it is a genuine Oris Diver date. The OLD style rubber band does NOT say ORIS on it. The new style does, so if you get one without the words, it is an older watch. Same movement and all, just a no longer "current" wrist band. Beware that the blue on the dial face is NOT as blue as seen in the photo. In fact, in most light it looks rather black than blue. The bezel blue, however, is the same blue in normal light. This is an automatic, so expect it to gain/lose minutes over the course of a week. Also, if you do not wear it daily, it will need manual winding, which is simple to do, to keep the spring wound. It also needs to be reset for any month with less than 31 days, again simple to do. The watch is the perfect weight for me as I have big wrists and hands. I did have to have the bracelet cut down by three spans of rubber, which cost me a whopping $8.00. When you have this done make certain the jeweler cuts ONE tab per side at a time so as to keep the bracelet opening centered as best as possible on the rear of the band. Takes all of 10 to 15 minutes to get this done properly. Be sure to KEEP THE metal insert springs as you may need them later should your wrist get larger. I purchased this watch after looking at many, many watch brands and styles. Oris only makes mechanical watches, no quartz pieces, so they are expert in that area. They are every bit comparable to Omega's but quite a bit less expensive. This particular watch can also be purchased with a beautiful stainless steel braclet. One can buy that at any point in time and have it installed. This watch is waterproof to almost 700' and has a screw down crown with a gasket to prevent water from getting in. Overall a wonderful watch to own.
