if you want to hear the candomble drum rhythms originating out of brazil, those rhythms played for the orishas, this cd is a wonderful place to hear them. the recording is sharp and clear and dudu is a fine player and singer. (the singing is minimum as it is the drum rhythms in this music that carry it.) the drum tones, bell tones, shekere and other instruments used in the playing of this music are well recorded here. that's important as they all play an important part in the therapeutic as well as spiritual content of this particular music. the music's entrancement qualities as well as its beauty are quite apparent on this recording. add it to your collection! you won't be dissapointed! [suggestion: LISTENING TO IT WITH HEADPHONES ON IS THE ULTIMATE IN THE ENJOYMENT OF THIS EXPERIENCE!]
