A real Jazz party, October 4, 2003

I'm new to this kind of music and am not too familar with the sound of it. But Wow, this album sounds really good. It sounds modern, clean, clear, crisp, loud and the bass has power. You put this album on and it sounds like these guys are really playing right in your room.
IT is called a Jazz Party and that is exactly what it is. IT was recorded in front of a live audience, and that adds to the party sound. Only 2 tracks are slow. The rest are upbeat. Listen to the first couple of samples, that is exactly what you are getting. A fierce Susaphone (Tuba), mixed with a bunch of brass chaos that sounds like genius when playing in unison.
