Briliant, wonderful book
i have the french language version of this book and it's simply the most amazing, gorgeous, well-illustrated book on this subject i have ever seen. i saw the english version just recently and it's the same giant volume, now made readable for those not fluent on french or italian. it is a must-have for fans of ornament and grotesque work.

Book Jacket
The book was advertised as brand new. When it arrived, it had been wrapped with shrink wrap so tightly that the book jacket was badly wrinkled.

Finally, an English translation for any exceptional book that is a must for an artist's reference library. This book has detailed history and brilliant illustrations of the most magnificent designs I have ever seen. This book will be much used as inspiration for my fresco paintings.
