A bit of yarn (or maybe sports yarn or even thread!) and you can make quick and easy ornaments for your tree or to give as a gift. There are ten different ornaments in this book. There is a snowman, candy cane and Christmas stocking to mention a few.
Each ornament is shown in three different threads which, of course, will make them three different sizes. Each thread provides a materials list and then there is one set of instructions for each. So simple to do, no changing steps to create different sizes, just use different material. There are three pages of general instructions and besides the normal how-to's, it provides a hook conversion chart and yarn description list. Grab a hook, the yarn of your choice and with this book and a bit of time you will have cute Christmas decorations for your tree.

I really like this book, but I don't think I would recommend it for beginners. I've made several items, and they came out very cute, but I found the method (not the instructions) rather confusing. I'm an intermediate crochet person, and I was able to work it out but if I was a beginner I think I would have been confused. I wonder if the book was published in another country. The items are very cute.
