After spending the first half of the 1980s with Orquesta La Solucion and Tommy Olivencia's orchestra the late Frankie Ruiz signed as a solo artist with TH-Rodven Records. Virtually all of his classic 1985-92 solo hits are included here and this 2-CD set is an "Essential" for any fan of 1980s Salsa. Frankie Ruiz was an undisputed icon of 1980s and '90s Salsa and his music remains both timeless and relevant to this day.

novice Salsa Champ,

I started taking dance lessons 10 months ago for fun, I got hooked on the Salsa, I love Elvis Crespo but Frankie is hands down the best i'm planning on putting my moves to the test at the Copa (one day) I have a routine to do at my dance class to graduate to the next level (this will be my bronze)i'll be dancing to La Cura! I hope everyone gets a Salsa out of it.
