About the Author
Born and raised in the Gopher Hole in Los Altos Hills, California, I spent most of my life in the company of such beings as the fairies of Ireland and the deities of Ancient Greece. Werewolves, dragons and hobbits have always been my bedtime fellows. I have been writing since I was very young, and my first attempt at a novel was in 1985. While wandering in the depths of Hades and staring in awe at the wonders of Valhalla I managed to gain an AA in Anthropology from Foothill College and a BA in Anthropology from UC Santa Cruz. On Earth I enjoy scuba diving, hiking, reading and playing rpgs. I am currently in the Peace Corps, serving in Ghana, Africa until 2002.
