Still remember, October 18, 2003
This review is from: The Orpheus Machine (The Emancipator, No 3) (Mass Market Paperback)
I read this book several years ago after buying it from the discard bin at a library. Even though I did not read the first two books in the series I was immediately intrigued when I started reading the third. This is an amazing book whose images that were invoked in my mind will haunt me forever!

This book consists of a lot of new ideas. The language of the book is perfect. I do not unterstand why I have found only a trilogy The Emancipator by Aldridge. He is great he should write more books

the world missed it..., November 27, 1998

Ray Aldridge has matured the English language, melding traditional techniques to evoke emotional response in writing, with "new consciousness" in relationships between people in their roles. The real strength of sci-fi as a genre is fully exploited as comment after comment is obliquely made on many of todays issues, with a mind expansion which is only possible in the "anything goes" milieu of another planet. Did I say that his comments were brilliant?
