This is the greatest sandal I have ever put on my feet! No, I'm not an athlete, I'm a senior grandma that has a Morton's Neroma and pronation. I cannot brag enough about this product. Looks and feels great on my tired feet. True to size and great arch for my pronation! I feel young again!

I have flat, narrow feet. I have used orthoheel flipflops. I decided to try these sandals, but was concerned that I could not tighten the straps enough for my AA feet. I followed the same procedure that I used for the flip flops. I wear a 9N in sandals and 9.5N in regular shoes. However, I ordered an 8 in these sandals as I have done with other ortho products. With a sandal it isn't a critical that I have enough length because my toes don't hit the front of a shoe. For me, ordering 1 to 1.5 sizes lower worked well for these sandals also. I didn't have to tighten them much and they are very comfortable right out of the box. If you haven't worn orthoheel sandals before, you may have to give them a bit to feel comfortable as the foot surface may feel hard and ungiving at first. They seem to soften to a very comfortable level as you wear them. I think within a week or two, if I remember right. But these felt comfortable and soft right off the bat. I also like that, as with other orthoheel products, I don't have to use my orthotics. I do wish they made their products in narrow. I'm very hesitant to try their walking/jogging shoes.

I bought these sandals after research, online too because I couldn't find a local store that sold them. The APMA seal and all the documentation on Orthaheel's website impressed me so I thought I'd try them out. They are well worth the money. I have severe plantar and heel nerve pain, as well as a tender surgery site. The heal is incredibly soft and supportive, as is the arch - this is the most important feature for me on any shoe now. These are incredibly light and flexible, but well made. The heel strap also hits my ankle fine with no irritation. It's a good thing my mother isn't the same size feet or she would have stolen them from me. I'm young so I don't want ugly old lady sandals, and these are cute as well (I got the black and blue color).

I love Orthaheel shoes, the only brand I've ever found that keeps my feet from hurting. Since I've only had flip-flops, I decided to try the vionic sandals to prevent slipping when I'm near the lake or beach. Unfortunately, the strap that goes over the top of the ankle is so tight that I can't comfortably wear these shoes. They have a velcro closure and a very short strap, so to wear them comfortably means that the velcro pieces barely connect and the strap pops off whenever I move. And, no, I don't have a high instep or large foot. The shoes look good and have the great footbed, but I won't wear them often.

I have a fallen arch in one foot due to an injury, a low arch in the other and suffer from plantar fasciatis.

I originally used custom made orthodics which were very, very expensive and very very limiting in shoe options. A friend introduced me to MBTs and I was sold within trying out one pair. No orthodics needed, I could purchase at least 2 pairs of shoes for the price of one set of orthodics and I could wear sandals, sneakers, dress shoes, boots... the options were astounding. I could even after walking all day in shoes, remove them and walk pain free which I was not able to do even with orthodics.

Then MBT changed and the new "cooler" styles did not seem to fit me the way the old (alright somewhat goofy looking) shoes did. I needed walking shoes for a vacation in Puerto Rico, I had a couple weeks to find something and after trying on over 9 pairs of MBTs, I finally decided to try these. Wow. They are incredibly light weight in comparison to MBTs or even other sandals of this type. They fit my foot nicely since they are adjustable. Most importantly I can walk all day in them pain free, remove them and continue to walk pain free barefoot till I go to bed in the evening.

I have no clue how they will hold up in the long run but right now I couldn't be happier. The two points I will mention and they are not enough for me to take away a star is that unlike the MBTs, I do have to think about standing up straight with my shoulders back. It is a strange thing to notice but when I wear my old MBTs, standing straight with my shoulders back is automatic, I don't even think about it, it happens. With these, I have to remind myself or I slouch. I also must mention that these are not a sport sandal although they have the look of one.

I have bad plantar fascia. All the flip flops by orthaheel have just been too tight. So I though I would try these with the adjustable straps. They are awesome!! Feel wonderful. I was hesitant to drop a $100 on pair of sandals but they're worth it!

It's difficult to rate this sandal. I have several problems with my feet and, after reading the reviews on this sandal, thought it would be a good choice for me. It is a fine sandal, but by the end of the day my feet still hurt a lot. I think they are not cushioned enough for me. They do have a great arch support, like my other Orthaheel shoes. They are just too hard on the bottoms of my feet.
