I have been wearing these for months and they just get better with age!
the name does what it suppose to and the feel and comfort is true.
They fit well and address my high arch problems, but also were comfortable enough to walk in from 8:00am until 10:00pm!

The support/insert felt wonderful. Color and style were what I expected; however I should have payed attention to reviews re: the heel. The fit was fine from the arch forward, but the heel was so big I couldn't walk without it feeling sloppy, even with socks. I really wanted them to fit but returned them. Didn't try another size because the rest of the shoe fit perfectly and was concerned a smaller size to accomodate the heel would be to small on the rest of my foot. Returning was easy w/ label, refund was prompt.

Suffering from Plantar Fasciitis, I was desperate to find a shoe that I could wear all day. This shoe fits the bill. It's comfortable, it corrects my foot issues and looks pretty darn cute with tights and a skirt or with jeans. Toe box is wide enough so that my toes aren't restricted and after wearing for just a week, I find that my feet feel much better and I am able to stay out and about much longer!

They are very comfortable. The only thing with this shoes is that they are slippery if you step on water or oil. Do not wear in the kitchen if you have tile or marble floors.

They run on the wide side. My foot is medium, but I will keep these, and they are true to size. I got these in chocolate too. I bought footsies to wear with them. When you wear them with jeans, the strap is covered, so they look more like a boot. Don't go down a half size in these -- they are true to size.

I was looking for some nice black shoes to wear to the office while healing from a bout of plantar fasciitis. I had the OrthaHeel Tide flip flops for around the house, and since I LOOOVE them and their wonderful arch support, I figured I would give these OrthaHeels a try. The style isn't bad, and in general they are very comfortable. They have a nice, wide toe box, and the edges don't rub against my heels like many shoes do. The only reason I'm docking a star is that the arch support could be better. However, there's plenty of room in the shoe to add an insole, so I bought a Dr. Scholl's arch support/heel cup from the drugstore and stuck them in there, which made them VERY comfortable. So I would recommend doing that. I wear these several times a week, and they feel great. They aren't SUPER stylish, but one of the cooler looking closed-toe orthopedics, so I don't feel like a total dork with them on. :) They're a good choice for the office, and I like that I can just slip them on and off (the buckle strap is made of the same pliable leather as the rest of the shoe). The sole is grippy and good for those slick parking lots on rainy days. I would recommend these to anyone suffering from PF or aches from high arches, with the caveat that you'll probably need to add additional arch support. I think it's worth the extra $10 at the drugstore, because the rest of the shoe is a fantastic design. Do your feet a favor and spend the extra money on OrthaHeel shoes in general -- they have greatly improved my PF.

I have the Orthaheel thong sandals and love the arch support. I have extremely high arches and am starting to overpronate, so the sandals really help. I was hoping to get the same support from this shoe, but sad to say it's nowhere close. The shell of the shoe itself has zero arch support and relies on a rather flimsy insert to provide this. The insert provides little to no suppport, and the best thing I can say about it that it is removable and the shoe runs large so I can easily fit my custom orthotics in; the strap helps keep the shoe on with the orthotic in.
The shoe is also all manmade material so it does not breathe. Prepare for sweaty feet. There is no cushioning in either the forefoot or heel which makes standing in these unbearable. I would return these except I stupidly tossed the box they came in.
I would not purchase this shoe again.

This is the 5th pair of Orthaheel Women's Elisa Mary Jane shoes I have purchased! They fit perfectly right out of the box! I had ordered a pair of Orthaheel walking shoes over a year ago that were a half size too big. When I first started wearing them, they seemed a little too long but they were comfortable and I wore them anyway. For several weeks they were fine but then they began hurting my feet. My arch felt like it was "in the wrong place" in the shoes, so I decided to order a half size smaller. As soon as I put the new pair on, I knew I had the correct size! These require no "break in" period for me. These shoes corrected my overpronation and my heel and foot pain is completely gone! I have been wearing these for months and they just get better with age! I would recommend them to anyone.

These have been great for my pronation except I ordered a half too big because reviews said to buy up a size. I've ordered another pair a half size down.
