Ortho Bionomy, a practical manual is a good summation of the various techniques for practicing this theraputic modality. I consider Ortho Bionomy to be a bit like Chiropractic, in that it deals with manipulating the joints. It is a great technique for massage therapists to add to thier repertoire. I would recommend taking a weekend seminar in this methodology, rather than just trying to pick it up from the book. Many techniques are such that you need to observe them first person. For therapists wishing to utilize Ortho Bionomy as part of thier practice, the book is certainly useful, even more so when combined with a seminar taught by a qualified instructor.

I am an acupuncturist, with some training in orthobionomy by seminar. This book is a wonderful aid for reviewing the techniques taught in person and beyond. Orthobionomy is a fantastic way of relieving trigger points and other aches and glitches in the body that more traditional healing therapies have a hard time fixing. I use many modalities, but this therapy seems to be the one my patients most ask for.

For the practitioner who would like a quick and easy way to help heal any type of physical discomfort. Easy to follow and understand. Simple to use. VERY EFFECTIVE. Add even one of these techniques (which can take about 5 minutes or less!) to ANY type of physical therapy or healing and you've increased your practice 10 fold. THIS WORKS.

I learned about ortho-bionomy in massage school. If you get the chance this is amazing work. The book is great when you have had some teaching. If this is your first time I would recommend taking a class or watching some videos. Then get this book to supplement and for a refresher.

Great book to add to my growing library of massage modalities. I'm a licensed massage therapy and have found this a wonderful modality to work into all of my massage sessions. It has been so benefical for many of my clients and they are suprised, and pleased, to feel results so quickly. It has several different approaches from what I had learned in my hands on classes. And some new ones, too.

I recently attened an Ortho-Bionomy Phase 4 class and bought this book directly after. Very easy to understand,thorough and effective! I would definately recommend to anyone interested in Ortho-Bionomy!

This was a gift for a doctor friend. I briefly scaned the book before I gave it to her. As a former instructional materials designer and instructor, I was impressed with the way the material was presented and it's ease of usage. I would recommend this book for specialized doctors and layman with a need for this material.
