This is a really great mattress pad. We have had it for several months now.

My husband was having back pain from sleeping on our waterbed, so we bought a new mattress. Then I started having back pain, because the mattress was too hard. We tried some fairly cheap mattress pads with no real satisfaction. Finally we decided on the Soft Sleeper 6.5 3" Memory Foam Mattress Pad. Initially we were a little disappointed, because we thought it would softer than it is. We wanted to give it a fair chance, so we kept sleeping on it. Soon my back pain went away. My husband also really likes it. If I had it to do over again I may have purchased the 2.5", but I have no regrets on this purchase. I think it is slightly thicker than what we would need.

I was also glad that the mattress pad completely covers the mattress. I saw a number of mattress pads advertised that are considerably smaller than the mattress measurement. This pad is definately the full 60" x 80" that our queen size mattress is.

I purchased this soft sleeper 6.5 queen mattress pad back in Oct. 2007. Nine months later this pad is total junk! It did not hold up at all, very uncomfortable, and bottomed out (meaning it leaves an indentation where you sleep & the part where you sleep usually has no support anymore)! Beware of buying this because it will NOT even last a full year! The seller misrepresents the density of this foam (having people think it is 6.5) it's not! This pad is approx. 2 lb density (I figured it out). Also it is stated as being 3", it is only 2 1/2" another misrepresentation! Can I say JUNK!!! Beware, spend your money on a better pad & make sure you purchase at least a 4 lb density NOT like this mattress pad. This is a total waste of your money! Didn't even get a yrs. use out of this!!

My body feels better getting up after sleeping soundly. Having had pain all the time when lying down, now my body can be cushioned and not have resistance that caused the pain. The 3inch 6.5lb. feels better than the Tempur-Pedic mattresses I was looking at for an unreal amount of money. Even the free pillow was better than the $100 Tempur-Pedic pillow I have had for years. I cannot believe the difference in prices and how this feels better to me. Even if it fails in a few years, I can replace this till I die and not spend as much. My body has less pain and my wallet is heavier, what a life!!!

I invested in a good mattress, but often had a hard time sleeping on it because it would get so uncomfortable during the night that I'd move between the bed and the sofa to get some sleep. I did my research on memory foam pads and decided on this mattress pad. I must say that it is so comfortable that I can finally use my sofa for what it was intended for! I can sleep in my back or on my side and it cradles so that you don't move that much. My dog, who usually prefers the floor, can be found crashing on the bed during the day as well. I only wish that it came with a mattress pad, but perhaps that's why it can be offered at such good price. I am having a hard time finding one that is only 3# deep. The covers are either for feather beds/ duvets, or for the full matress. I settled on one from Ikea that wraps like a fitted sheet. Not ideal, but works for now.

All in all, I'd definitely recommend this pad to anyone looking for a good, comfortable mattress topper that's soft as a cloud but with good support.

After sleeping on this topper for a month, we're so pleased that we went this route instead of getting a whole new bed. We're both sleeping much more soundly - no more lying awake trying to figure out what position will let you get back to sleep.
If you're thinking you need a new bed, try this first - low financial risk with a great potential upside!

The mattress topper fits my queen bed perfectly no shortages there.I understand that some of the new foam has a smell , I detected nothing. I have placed a feather bed topper on top of the foam and my bed is heaven!!.The foam helps to keep the feather bed from sliding on the mattress. I hope this combination keeps me warm and comfortable for several years. Even with a standard size mattress ,the foam and a feather topper the deep size sheets fit just fine. I would suggest you try this product.

It took me about a week to get used to the memory foam and was starting to regret my purchase as my husband was raving how well he was sleeping and that he no longer hurt in the morning. After a brief adjustment I am extremely pleased with this product. It is so comfortable and the way the foam adjusts to the contours of your body makes it a perfect fit every time you settle in for some sleep. The only dislike (which is trivial) is that the memory foam seems to hold body heat which can very warm at night. Overall this is a wonderful product.

Very fast shipping and is a quality pad! great if your a side sleeper. I have already recomended this to others. great value for the price! its not really 3" its only 2 13/16" thick and not a tru 3" and the pilliow is tiny. I rather get a small discount than have the tiny pillow. I picked this pad because the value fot the dollar. To go to the 4" is not as well priced vs any noticeabledifferance in feel or comfort! same with the 6.5 lb density vs the 6.8 the ave person will never feel the differance. I have had other so called 2"pads in the past and this 3" is far superior! best value for the buck

The Topper was great it fit the queen size bed prefect. It's not light weight and feels just like the temperpedic ones. However the pillow well don't expect much, it is light and thin. The pillow is the only thing keeping my review from a 5 star.

Over the past year I have realized that my bed is too stiff for me to get a really good nights sleep. Especially since I love to sleep on my side. I would wake up with a sore shoulder or with a tweak in my back. I would also toss quite a bit and, more often than not, not get into a good deep sleep.

This foam mattress made a huge difference for me. I actually sigh when I lay down in bed now. I am glad that I got the 3-inch, because I don't think anything thinner would have done it.

It had a touch of an odor to it when I first brought it out of the package, I unfolded it and locked it in my room for an hour or two with some incense burning and that solved that problem.

The pillow is great to have for free, but it doesn't really do anything special for me. It is about 1 foot by 1.5 feet. I prefer the pillows that I already have. From reading reviews on the cover for this foam mattress, I am still glad that I went with the pillow option.

All in all I am very happy with with what I have. I would have had to pay around $1000 for any of the other viable options that I was considering.
