5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what we learned in class
Dawn Gulick taught Ortho to my class and this book is the best. I only wish we had it at the begining of the class. Everything she taught us was included. It is a really good reference that actually fits in your pocket. I carry it with me at clinic as a reference. It is easy to use and just short of bullet proof. You can write in it and erase pen with an alcohol pad. I...

It is a really good reference that actually fits in your pocket. I carry it with me at clinic as a reference. It is easy to use and just short of bullet proof. My CI even found it useful because it jogged her momory on stuff she doesn't really use that often.

5.0 out of 5 stars Always at my fingertips, December 19, 2007

I happened across this book a year ago and can't believe how much I refer to this book. It is an excellent reference during exams and I find myself thumbing through it during down time. The pictures, quick easy exam tips, easy follow reading and layout are all just a few of the characteristics that I truly appreciate. I always am coming across something that is a wonderful review and or something that I was not aware of. I LOVE the differential diagnosis in each section. Another quality of this book is that the pages are sturdy and waterproof. I'm sure as often as I have carried this around with me over the past year, the pages would have been rather dog-eared if only of paper product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love these pocket books!, April 26, 2008
This review is from: OrthoNotes: Clinical Examination Pocket Guide (Paperback)
This book follows suit with most of the other write-on wipe-off with alcohol medical type pocket reference books. I love that they actually fit in my scrub pockets, and that they are waterproof! As far as information, this book is perfect for someone like me. I work in an ortho-office and I'm also in nursing school. It really has clarified some things for me. I also recommend RN notes, Med Surg Notes, OB Notes, and Assess Notes. They are all top notch, and I just listed them in order from my most-favorite to my least favorite. (Assess notes is good, RN notes is FABULOUS. Ortho Notes comes right after Med Surg Notes in my ranks!) :) Thanks for reading y'all!

I love this product. It is durable, and full of useful information. It follows what I am learning in my Ortho class. Very helpful, with great pictures. I plan on taking this when I go on my clinicals.

Book looks good. A few sticky parts on the cover, probably a price tag, but it shipped so fast! great!

3.0 out of 5 stars Good quick review.Kindle version needs editing., November 21, 2011

Saw my colleague using this, browsed through it and thought it was a nice one to keep for a quick review.Bought the kindle version though since I'm always carrying my smartphone.Overall it was good but the pictures and texts does not coincide/align with each other most of the time.(very evident especially on muscle pain referral patterns pictures and texts). For me it's not confusing since I know what the muscles are but for others that may not be familiar, it's misleading due to the texts and pictures not aligned.Hence the three stars. Please fix it.

This is a good quick reference book that is small enough to fit into any work station. My teacher in school suggested us to get this book, and I couldn't agree more.
