My 80 pound, mixed breed, elderly dog has progressive arthritis. Normally he sleeps in my bed but he is getting too old to jump up and down. I have a cold, hard floor in the bedroom so I wanted something thick and comfortable for him.

This bed is made of what seems to be memory foam scraps. It's not a solid piece. It arrived in a vacuum-sealed bag while the denim cover was packed separately. The bed is simply a sack filled with the scraps and at first appeared to be round like a bean bag. I lay down on it to flatten it out and it became more bed like. Both covers seem a little thin and flimsy; the sack is purportedly water proof but I put a rubber sheet on the bed (my dog has epilepsy and occasionally loses bladder control) just in case. I also covered it with a fleece blanket because it's a pain to get the denim cover on and off to wash -- the blanket it easier.

The bed is comfortable and thick. You can't feel the hard floor at all. Tonight my dog didn't even make an attempt to climb into my bed. He simply curled up on his new bed and went right to sleep!

This bed is pretty expensive for the materials, but plush and comfortable, and worth it for my old guy.

I have two great danes under a year old. We have gone through many dog beds in the short time we have had them, and none of the beds have been as good as this one. We bought the XXL size for our 115 lb puppy that is going on 150 lbs; however, as soon as my smaller dane saw this bed, he immediately ditched his own and staked out the new one for himself. We had to force him to leave it in order to allow our larger dane to lay on it. The bed is just big enough for the dane we bought it for, and since he is still growing, we are going to buy the next size up for him.

Most of the other beds we have gotten have been filled with cotton, and my boys have either flattened them out within the first day and/or ripped it to shreds within the first week. This bed has a durable double layer that is tough enough to withstand thick claws and foam center that does not flatten out under heavy pups.

I was skeptical at first when I saw the size of the package, but as soon as I opened it, I saw that the pillow was vaccume sealed. The bed is a good size for dogs around 100 lbs, but I'd get the next size up for dogs upwards of 130 lbs. The beds are a bit pricy compared to their cotton counterparts, but the price is well worth it if you want a bed that lasts. We have spent well over what we paid for this bed on beds that just couldn't take our crazy duo, and I wish now that we had just sucked it up and paid more at the beginning.

My dog is a 120 lb. monster of love. She needed a huge bed she could stretch out on that would protect her aging bones from the cold hard tile floor. This bed is super plush, yet supportive, my dog is very happy. You have to reach in and fluff up the foam when you get it because it's vaccuum sealed and the foam bits clump together quite solidly. I recomend short sleeves as the foam sticks to just about everything and keep a vaccuum handy for cleaning up the inevitable spillage. Once you zip it back up though your good to go, and your dog will thank you.

This was purchased for my 117lb German Shepherd. Due to his size I had a hard time finding a bed. I was looking for an Orthopedic bed. This bed works, however, it isn't a solid piece of memory foam, its pieces of memory foam. He would have better support if it was solid. I will have to replace it within a year.

This is an awesome dog bed for BIG dogs. I have a pitbull mastiff and pur bread south african mastiff and they both lay on this together!! So its pretty huge. I've had it a few weeks now and its still fluffy. I do shake it up for them once a week because the foam pieces settle a bit but they def love it. I'm getting another one so they each have their own!

My dog is soooo happy with his bed! He's an old English Sheepdog, just a year old, and weighs 89lbs. The bed is just perfect for him. Strangest thing ever... he has peed in it TWICE! He is completely potty trained so I can't figure out why??? Anyways, the 1st time, the liquid just stayed on top the cover like water on a duck. I wiped it up easy and washed the cover. 2nd time the cover was not as water repellent and some seeped through... must be 'cause I washed it. Sprayed it with a shoe guard. Hope that works. Actually, I hope he doesn't pee on it at all?!

I purchased the bed for my 80lb year old German Shepard/ Husky mix dog, and he took to it immediately, loves it and has plenty of room. I washed the outer jean cover according to the instructions, and the zipper broke. I emailed the dogbeds4less company explained what had happened, and they sent me a replacement via USPS Priority and I had the new one two days later free of charge. Now that is excellent customer service. The product is solid and well built, I just happened to get one of the very few sour apples in the bunch, but dogbeds4less stood behind their product and I would recommend dealing with them to all other pet owners I know. Bought this for my "petite" (105 lb) Great Dane. She loves it and slept like a baby last night. It's a generous size and would be great for an even larger dog. I really like the foam chunk "stuffing" that helps the bed keep it's shape and not become flattened like other stuffing products. Denim cover seems sturdy and should hold up well even with repeated washings. Love the waterproof inner liner concept, but couldn't tell (maybe I'm just dumb) which side was the waterproof one. The instructions said one side was soft and one more hard, but I swear I don't see a difference.

Takes only moments to set up, but since foam is vacuum packed, you do have to do a bit of shaking and scrunching to get the pillow fluffed. Once that's done, however, the bed is comfy. Really like the idea that I can give my dog who's getting up in age, but not arthritic yet, a comfortable, supportive bed. Much better quality than anything I found in local petstores. Highly recommend.

The bed came fast and works as stated. The cat loves it and now we just have to get the dog on it.

I purchased these dog beds for my Great Danes. Although it took a lot to get them to use the beds, they prefer a solid foam bed vs a shredded foam bed, which I did not know at the time of purchase that they were shredded foam and not a solid piece of foam. The covers are made of denim and it should last through their use.
