Good Book for Exam,
By Airbender (Jupiter, Florida United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Orthopedic Review for Physical Therapists, 1e (Paperback)
I bought this book to study for the OCS exam (orthopedic clinical specialist). I found it very valuable for this. It may also be helpful for the State Board exam. The book has chapters for each area, i.e., lower extremity, hand and wrist, etc. The chapters are written in question and answer format, making it ideal for test preparation. I highly recommend this book if you are going to take the OCS exam, or just want to broaden you knowledge of orthopedics. This is a book geared toward facts and "book knowledge", and is not for learning hands-on techniques.

Review for OCS exam,

This review is from: Orthopedic Review for Physical Therapists, 1e (Paperback)
This book was highly recommended to me for preparing for the OCS exam. I feel it is very valuable, but beware it is a study guide full of questions and answers. The research and explanation for each answer is not present. The format is essay answers. I found it very helpful in my later stages of preparing for the test, however not what I needed in the beginning.
