I haven't actually read the book, but a quick glance through makes me think the material may be a bit dated. The tile designs in the illustrations, at least, look a bit out of fashion. That said, the how-to aspect of this book may be great - I won't know until I actually read it! I've found most of the Ortho books to be good intros to home improvement topics, so I'm still hopeful!
