5.0 out of 5 stars Well Done - Concise and Relevant, August 12, 2001

This review is from: The Orvis Streamside Guide to Approach and Presentation (Hardcover)
This book provides all the necessary information required for approaching and presenting flies to trout. Each different chapter and section covers an essential aspect in prospecting for trout. I especially liked the section on water temperature and its effect on trout feeding and behaviour - I now use a thermometer each time I go fishing - something I wish that I had done before. If you want a concise and relevant book without a lot of unnecessary information - this one does the trick.
