Excellent folder, especially for the money,
By Heather (Los Angeles) - See all my reviews The Axis lock seems very strong but opens and closes very smoothly. I can very easily and quickly close it one-handed, which is something that I often can't do with folders I would otherwise like (being a female with small hands). The knife is compact, good for carry, but still has a decent-sized blade. Additionally, with its aluminum handle, it is nicely light weight. Overall, I would highly recommend this knife.

Third time is the charm!,

First of all, I don't do too many of these reviews, but I feel so compelled to leave a review for this awesome knife. I think I'm very fortunate that I've bought this knife only after I've purchased two other knives before this. This is the one and only knife you'll need to carry with you. I consider these knives as a novelty item like a wrist watch; you don't really need it, but you just never know when you'll need it. Some watches cost a lot and some are cheap. That's the same way I see knives. I wanted something aesthetically nice and opened smoothly. A lot of knives these days come pre-sharpened and this is no joke. And not to mention it also has a lifetime sharpening program. The knife is light weight and it takes a little time to get used to pulling down and flipping it in one swift motion. Once you master this motion, it'll look like you have a switch blade knife. I have a gerber multi-tool, swiss army knife (actually bought in switzerland), another $30 gerber serrated knife, and a CKRT serrated knife. All these knives get no love from me since I carry my Osborne with me at all times. I decided not to go with anything serrated because seriously do you really need to cut pieces of branch or anything along those line that a straight edge knife can't? Plus, its hard to sharpen serrated knives if you were going to do it yourself. Trust me on this, buy this knife and this knife will be the only one you'll carry with you on a day to day basis.
