Intoxicating,
By Melissa Kelley "Valkyrie Princess" (Atlanta, GA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Oscar Blandi Jasmine Oil Serum (Misc.)
Whenever I received this as sample gift with purchase I put about 8 drops in my hair (which is between my butt and knees in length hence the reason so much) and find it to be completely intoxicating. Not only did my hair shine without greasiness, it also smelled so wonderful that I didn't need perfume or anything else to complete my routine. I adore this product so very deeply that I am going to continue buying it and be extremely disappointed should it ever be discontinued.

Unbelievable!!,

I have very thick wavy hair and have never been able to have the straight sleek look, until I tried this product. First, the smell is incredible - pure jasmine oil which calms the hair and during the day when you turn your head you get a lingering scent of jasmine. It makes my hair silky and manageable and unlike other serums I've tried, this one does not make my hair look or feel oily. I highly recommend this product as well as the other Oscar Blandi jasmine line which I use.

Jasmine Oil Serum,
By Aracelais (Buffalo, MN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Oscar Blandi Jasmine Oil Serum (Misc.)
I have been using this product for about a year now. It smells wonderful, but leaves my hair feeling weighed down. My hair is blonde, thin and very fine. It tends to get oily by the end of the day, but when I use this product it seems that my hair feels oily in a few hours. I don't really like the application, either. I put one pump into my hands & rub it between my palms to warm it up a little. Then I run my hands through my hair, mostly concentrating on the ends where my hair is driest. Since it is an oil, it seems like I can never get it all off of my hands even after washing them.
As far as what the bottle claims, it does seem to make my hair a little softer when I use it. It also works to protect my hair from heat damage, but I have used other products that have worked just as well for a fraction of the cost.

Aromatic & Lustrous Locks,

Gorgeous, authentic Jasmine fragrance. Use a tiny amount and add more sparingly if needed. Controls frizz and fly-aways. Your hair will have a mirror like gloss and shine to it. Also, great for smoothing the look of dry, split ends. The bottle seems to last forever since you only need to use small amounts of this concentrated serum. I always get comments on how beautiful I smell when I have this in my hair! The bottle itself is also very attractive and travels well.

Love this product but this is the first time I've bought the full size bottle. I first used it when I received a sample of it. You use a very small amount, and it goes a long way. I have long hair to the middle of my back and a small amount of product is sufficient. I use one full pump (and it's a tiny pump) on dry hair and about 2-3 for just-showered hair. I didn't think i would be a fan of the fragrance when I saw it was "jasmine" but I find it to be absolutely bewitching. It's not too strong or obnoxious to me. I love the results of this hair serum.

Wonderful hair product,

This is the first product that I have ever felt so passionate about that it warranted a comment. This serum is ultra-fabulous. My hair is very dry and my ends are damaged so my hair requires moisture daily. I was tired of using oil because it made my hair greasy. I have tried other serums but they were either too heavy or too light. To my delight, after an exhaustive search for "the product" I found it. The serum makes my hair really smooth and silky, and it has even reduced my breakage because it tames my brittle ends. May this product be available forever!

I basically have straws for hair, and till this day nothing short of rebonding can tame my hair, including this serum. Smells great though.

Best for Color Treated and Highlighted hair!,

My hair is thin, naturally curly, colored and highlighted. I bought this product from Sephora after I had received a sample. Before I dry my hair I rub 3 or four small pumps into my hands and smooth it through my hair. I let my hair air-dry because it dries so fast. It smells awesome, and my curls look so smooth and polished when I use this product. Even my blonde highlights blend in better. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for a solution for frizzy hair.

Overpriced - Citrus Shine products are better value,

I bought this because of the reviews here and style magazine interviewing Kelly Rippa who stated she loves this product. Well, I get better results from Citrus Shine anti-frizz serum for a fraction of the cost. If you are relying on this product because it offers the delicate fragrance of jasmine, buy jasmine oil/extract from an organics source and bump a few drops in your $4 purchase of Citrus Shine and VIOLA! you have great smelling hair and no frizz! Personally, I found this Oscar Blandi product to be more runny than Citrus Shine and therefore really didn't risk over-applying as a result -- but short of that, I'm not spending the money for this product when I know I can manage just fine with a quality product, that happens to be more available at a better price in Citrus Shine anti-frizz serum. Only takes a dime-size worth for shoulder length hair. Better yet, CS offers it in a spray for a more even application.
