Ok but not great,

I was excited to see this product. The hair around my temples seems to be gray all the time. I have used it a couple times, and it does cover the gray, but it does not dry. I put on a light coat and give it time to dry. But that does not happen. During the day at work I occasionally rest my hand on my head. It's great when it comes back with a big brown spot on it. They should have made this water proof too. I was out in the rain and had it running all down the sides of my head.

This is a great product for touching up roots between colorings.
I purchased this pen a few weeks ago and have used it a number of times. Initially I had a bit of difficulty getting the proper amount of product on my hair. It is imperative that after you twist the pen to release the product you blot the tip of the pen. Otherwise you end up with a huge blob of goo on your scalp and hair. The blob stains your scalp and makes your hair sticky. After you blot the tip of the pen, brush the pen through your hair, starting higher up from the scalp initially and then getting closer as the product is worked through. A light touch is all that is needed, too much product will make the hair stiff. If you do apply too much, simply use a comb or a brush and work it through the hair. (This works with a moderate amount of "too much", otherwise you will most likely have to shampoo the product out.) The color will last until your next shampooing. I have not used the pen for highlighting but it is a great alternative to the "every two week dye job".

Don't bother, it comes out in a big gloppy mess and takes forever to dry, coming off on everything it touches

Loved the color/was the exact shade of my hilights. Product was a little "gunky", but covered well..until I brushed my hair, then the color vanished. Was effective only after hair was completely styled- as a final step. I will try some of the other products out there to see if there is something better.

Oscar Blandi - You Can Do Better!,

This looked great on "The View" but the quality is real poor. I am really surprised that Oscar Blandi put out a product like this. I like to see the positive in everything but I don't see positive in this product. It does not match up very well to my hair color and it stays sticky wet for a long time before it decides to dry. I need something quick and not messy. I have a basic hair crayon that I have been using for many years that does the job much better and it is not messy to use. Also, this product was way to expensive for its poor quality.

Comes off on everything for days!,

I tried several of these. Although I find the brush easy to use, the stuff comes off on everything for DAYS - even long after it dries! makes your hair matte and sticky too. Yuck!
The ColorMark Gray Roots Gone Instantly- Instant Liquid Touch Up is the best I've tried so far. The foam wand is harder to use, but once it dries your hair looks and feels normal without the grey! Won't come off until you wash it.

Not worth the money,

This product is horrible and way too expensive. I have done my own highlights many times, but the brush is totally wrong for the application, the dye is too thick to manage properly, takes too long to apply, and it doesn't dry properly. If I could return it, I would. Don't waste your time or money.

I bought this from Sephora and it sucks. The darkest color is not good for dark hair and doesn't cover gray at all.

Wonderful for in between colorings...you wind up the pen and dab on..
you can adjust the amount and comb in or use your fingers and the color was dead on... This is the answer for hiding your dark roots in between colorings..I can stretch appointments out now.

I read the reviews & gave this a try, I'm glad I did ! This product stays on till next shampoo without a problem. The other reviewer said it was glop when it comes out but I found if I screwed the cap & it comes out, I brush it on clean surface to even out the fluid on brush. Then hold hair straight to apply near roots. On hair next to face I blend a bit with finger & works great ! I was told that if I used a blond tube it would look like highlights on my brown hair but I don't think it looks like highlights. I do recommend this product.
