Too light treatment,

Even my 11 year old daughter read this book and commented that the author doesn't sound like she really knows about jazz. There are many books about OP that i would look at before this one. A few interesting bio snippets found here, but nothing really about his thoughts or experiences.
The life of this man deserves a more in depth look. Why write something superficial about such a significant musical force, other than just to make a few $. peace |
