5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice guitar
We purchased this guitar for our six year old grandson. While he does not know how to play (yet), he loves to "play" guitar with his Grandpa when he comes to visit. Of course, Grandpa's guitars are full-size, which is too large for a six year old to handle. When the guitar arrived we were thrilled with the quality. It is a very well made, beautiful guitar, and my...

3.0 out of 5 stars It's small
I just got the guitar and it seems sturdy, definitely going to be a great guitar to learn with. Problem is I was so excited to buy one, and it was such a good price for a left handed guitar, that I didn't notice it is a 1/2. That means it is small, like for a child small. So, just a heads up to anyone who is as impetuous as I was. It's small, go for the 3/4 size if you...

It is a very well made, beautiful guitar, and my husband says it is easy to tune and does a good job of staying tuned. Our grandson was absolutely thrilled with it, and kept carrying on how he could really learn to play with a guitar his size! Because it is a real guitar, and not a toy, it is still a bit difficult for little fingers to hold down the strings, but that should improve with practice and growth. We would definitely recommend this guitar. It is actually nicer than we expected for the price, and should give our grandson years of use. Also, it was packaged EXTREMELY well, and arrived in perfect condition.

Packaging was fine. Product is good for what I paid for. My only issue is that I ordered a 'left' handed guitar and I was shipped a 'right' handed guitar. Not exactly easy to switch hands to play.
