This bajo is a great instrument over all. People say its a beginner bajo, maybe it is, but i think its great even for an experiemced player.. Of course, there are aome drawbacks. The strings do suck big time.. I would say switch them to GHS strings. Sounds great for the price! Another drawback is that the fretboard is a little short, more frets wouldnt hurt. Overall a 10/10, gets the job done and does it well..

This is my first bajoquinto that I own, and I am very please with my purchase, you don't have to push too hard the strings to produce sound because the gap between the neck and the strings is not to separate, this is one of the things that some friends told me before buying a bajo because some bajos you have to press it hard to produce sound. The first thing that I do following all the reviews was to change the strings with a dean markley. So if you are a beginner like me I totally recommend this bajoquinto and I think that if you are an advance player this will work good for you too.

This product is great; For the price, the workmanship is excellent. I'd recommend replacing the stock strings as they don't hold correct tuning for very long and sound dull. If you'd plan to amplify this guitar, I'd like to mention that the preamp/transducer setup on this instrument is microphonic and a switch to a passive pickup mounted on the soundhole would be a huge improvement: This is not necessary however, as the existing setup is 'good enough'.
