The Oscar Schmidt Baratone Gig Bag was purchased for an Oscar Schmidt Baratone Ukulele. It is well made and seems to be of good quality, however, it has two shortcomings. It is a tight fit for an OS Baratone Ukulele. Also, it seems to me that a bag of this quality should have been made with a shoulder strap. These two shortcomings amounted to a disappointment and cast a shadow on the quality of the Oscar Schmidt name.

I bought this gig bag to carry the Oscar Schmidt baritone I recently purchased. I wanted something to keep it looking nice for a reasonable price. This bag was just the ticket. Well constructed, zippers open and close smoothly, outside pocket for strings and picks, all for a reasonable price. Great value

You'll need to purchase a bag much more sturdy if you want to keep your instrument safe. This brown gig bag has no padding whatsoever & what's most disconcerting to me is that there are no shoulder straps as pictured. On a positive note, shipment of the item (free overnight by UPS) & ease of return by Amazon was outstanding.

I'm glad I got this rather than the cheaper ones I'd considered. It is sturdy and travels pretty well for not being a hard case. My only complaint is the color. the one pictured is black. Mine is brown with yellow writing. It didn't bother me sufficiently to complain to them, but it was a suprirse. Oh and how BIG is the label on this case? My guitar friends mocked that huge label on there.
