I needed a dedicated blade for cutting all of my aluminum bar stock and extruded aluminum down to size. And I looked at all of my options, prices ranging from $30 all the way up to $125 for a single 10" blade. So I decided to go with something in the middle, around $50 and this Oshlun fit the bill.

Once I received it I installed it on my Hitachi miter saw and started cutting. WOW was the first thing that came to mind. The 100 tooth blade cut through the "U" channel aluminum like nothing and produced a super clean mitered cut. Only minor deburring was needed.

Next up was cutting some 8020 10 series extruded aluminum. Again, fantastic! Nice and clean, great chip ejection, couldn't get much better.

So after cutting several feet of "U" channel, square stock, and extruded aluminum, not a single bit of aluminum has bonded to the blade and the blade is still cutting like brand new. Couldn't be happier.

Pros:
Cheaper then most other aluminum cutting blades.
Produces fantastic results.
Clean chips.

Was looking at cut off saws to work some of my 1/8th aluminum stock and while researching came across this 10" non-ferrous blade. The idea of swapping the blade on my miter saw and having the convenience and accuracy of the tool appealed to me so I made the purchase. Couldn't be happier. The saw easily cut through all the aluminum I threw at it and produced exceptionally accurate smooth cuts each time. My miter saw isn't the greatest (Kobalt 10") but with this blade working non-ferrous metals was easy. For anyone doing this for the first time, recommend eye protection. The blade creates very fine metal flakes while working.

I have tried this blade and the Timberline 10181 (half the price) on my table saw. I was pretty happy with the Timberline, but when it got dull I put on the Oshlun. I was blown away. When the blade is sharp, it cuts through aluminum surprisingly quietly, and without heating up the metal. It's almost eerie. When the blade starts to get a bit dull it still cuts through aluminum no problem- just a bit more loudly. Probably comparable to a sharp Timberline. I put a bit of Boelube or WD40 on the blade before I make a heavy cut.

I was having trouble cutting short peices of trophy column without them flying about, scaring me to death! Read online that buying a 100 tooth mitre saw blade would eliminate the problem. 5 stars! It did!

This blade was purchased to be used in a miter saw to cut DecKorators aluminium tube balasters. The tubes were cut cleanly and smoothly with no tearing or spinning. I forgot to change the blade to a carbide tip 30 tooth, which I had been using to cut ipe, and made several cuts in 2 X 1.5" ipe. The ipe was cut slightly more cleanly with no tearout with this Oshlun blade than with the other blade (which had been used extensively and may have been dull).

I'm very impressed! I used this blade in my miter saw for the first time today and it cut through 1-1/8 inch square aluminum bar stock like it wasn't even there. It left a nice clean edge too so not much to de-burr. This blade is made in China and it just goes to show ya that sometimes quality stuff comes from there. For the $45 price you can't beat this blade.

I used this to cut 8020-style aluminum extrusions up to 1545 on a mitre saw. Worked great, beautifully clean cuts.

I purchased this saw to cut stainless steel backsplash tiles. It worked wonderfully. The cuts were very clean and precise and no filing required to get it to fit. I have since used it to cut other pieces of metal for my woodworking projects (mainly rails for file cabinets) and it worked great there too. Highly recommended.

Used this to cut through 1.5" diameter aluminum rod. It really just went right through it effortlessly and very clean.

I was very surprised, but I'm new at this.

I used this to cut extruded aluminum channel and T-slot style channel (80/20). Worked like a charm. Great blade for the price.
