I bought these shoes for my wedding reception, because I love loud kicks. I haven't skated them yet, they feel thin, there is a little padding in the heel, but nothing like the thick gel-pads in most Osiris shoes. If you want a beefier high top, I would suggest the Circa 205 hi-topsC1RCA Men's 205 Thug Sneaker, if you can still buy them.

this is the second pair of high top Osiris i bought. my first pair was awesome. they lasted for two years. My new ones were a disappointment. they had less padding a feel cheap in quality. i would not recommenced these.
