I had never seen these in any stores but I ordered a couple of them on AmazonFresh (Amazon's grocery delivery). They were so good I immediately ordered 2 boxes of them. I don't eat sugar or grains so this is a great snack to have around when I want something sweet. The coconut is so satisfying that I only end up eating half a bar. Great also for throwing in your golf bag, taking on a hike or traveling. I always have one in my bag. Plus, contrary to popular belief, coconut is really good for you! It has healthy saturated fats full of medium chain fatty acids which give lots of energy and coconut is anti-bacterial and anti-viral. Enjoy!

you'll absolutely love these! i've only had these a couple of days and already i've eaten a few. i've also shared them with my students, and they enjoy them as well (they're 9 and 10 year olds). they're a quick pick-me-up when i feel i need a little extra energy or snack, and they're great when you're craving macaroons. :) they taste so similar!

I love coconut in pretty much any way, shape or form. Given the great reviews these bars have gotten, I couldn't resist getting a couple boxes. Unfortunately, they were a bit of a let down. I was anticipating them to taste like the coconut in a Mounds bar, but they simply taste like generic coconut flakes that have been slightly sweetened and mixed with a bit of paraffin to mold them into bars. Yes, PARAFFIN. Both macaroons and (the coconut in) Mounds bars are noticeably sweeter.

They're certainly edible, but given all of the calories in one bar (264 calories / 151 fat calories) I really expected them to taste a bit more decadent and lack the waxy mouth feel.

I usually purchase these bars at my local health food store and I am so addicted! If you have a sweet tooth or are looking for a chemical free, organic or gluten-free snack for your kid, this is the way to go! They are sweetened with brown rice syrup. They are not too sweet and don't give you a sugar hangover afterwards. They are high in fat but it's a medium chain saturated fat, so you can burn it off quicky. Plus, coconut has so many health benefits! Eat it and not feel guilty...or bloated. My intention in buying them in bulk at a lower price from Amazon this time was to use the bars for wedding reception favors---they were a huge hit!

I bought these on subscribe and save, last year. I ate them occasionally and put the new arrivals in a cool dry place for storage thinking they would still be good up to their expiration date. I had to throw away two boxes of these because they went bad and moldy. Another box I sealed in a ziplock storage bag and it was not visibly moldy but smells and tastes off (like cough syrup) compared to fresh ones. So even when they are put in additional sealing and stored properly, they go bad far before their expiration date.

Oskri has truly covered all the bases with this delicious treat. Just the right balance of texture, sweetness(using a natural sweetener) and overall flavor. All organic ingredients. Kosher. A tremendous amount of fiber.

I had been buying the bar locally, at prices ranging from 99 cents to a dollar and 70 cents. The Amazon price totaled around 75 cents. What a deal! Of course, to get that price, I had to buy in bulk. Since I'm essentially addicted to one of these a day, that didn't pose a problem.

I also bought a box of the mango and pineapple varieties. The mango bar is also mouth-wateringly delicious, but more sweet. The pineapple variety is sticky-sweet, and loaded with rice sweetener syrup..so much so that the bar flops over and falls apart as you're eating it. The flavor is so concentrated that I'd suggest eating it like a delicacy and splitting it with a friend.

I bought these bars without really knowing what I was going to get, but because of the better than decent reviews I figured they would be okay to say the least. Well I must say I was really surprised about how good these are its like eat a Mound's bar with out the chocolate. My kids really liked them, but they are definitely a treat bar as they are very sugary, sorry rice syrupy. The composition on my package listed the blend as 50% coconut and 50% rice syrup.

Eating one of these did remind me of eating Mounds bars as a kid (without the chocolate). I'm not sure rice syrup has a metabolic advantage over sugar, but it doesn't taste overly sweet like a Mounds bar does so I don't think they add a lot of it. As others have pointed out, don't be too scared off by the 75% serving of saturated fats in one of these. From what I've read, coconut oil is good for you. However, the total calorie count is pretty high so if you're watching your total daily caloric intake this is pretty concentrated stuff.

I cannot emphasize enough how tasty these Oskri bars are. Their Original Coconut Bar is as good as it gets - truly. I am so grateful I have had it to chew on when my hunger hits me and my blood sugar hits the ground. Coconut is highly nutritional and the oils are very good for your skin, in addition to being a "good oil." These are not low calorie or particularly low fat, but, my feeling is that this is a snack replacement that you are switching out for, say, potato chips, then it is totally worth it.

Buy some today. I think you will like them!

These coconut bars are not a "single serving" bar, due to the number of calories and fat grams, but they are quite tasty and filling. For those with multiple allergy issues, it can be a real treat, whether plain or by dipping pieces of the coconut in melted chocolate like allergy-friendly Enjoy Life Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, Gluten, Dairy & Soy Free, 10-Ounce Bags (Pack of 6). Mmmm! :)
